      Hermes Pan was the assistant to the choreographer Dave Gould… Astaire’s movie debut… Pan and Astaire began a friendship and perfect working relationship that would last them the rest of their lives. Btw love your tumblr site.

    I loved this film.Unfortunately I have only got it on VHS.Time for a DVD I think.The clip you showed made me feel quite giddy however asd I am very,very bad with heights.

      It is giddy (!) and choppy and ends abruptly, kind of like what I imagine flying was like in the 1930s 🙂

    I was reading something about Hermes Pan recently.Did he move into interior design later or am I wrong.
