The Zanuck’s celebrate Susan”s graduation from the Marlborough School with a dance at Romanoff’s. From left to right, Darryl, Susan, and Virginia Zanuck:
When I was a kid we would drive past Romanoff’s and I would go weak in the knees. The only classic Hollywood restaurant I ever got to go into was The Brown Derby on Vine. William Holden didn’t show up for lunch so there were on accidents that day.
Lucille Ball didn’t plant a pie in your face 😉 I’m very glad.

Ever dine at a well known hot spot in the Valley during the 1950’s-1970’s, the Queens Arms? The restaurant’s unique ambiance was due to its decor being overseen by a Hollywood set designer back in the day. . .
I thought I recognized the building… But, I couldn’t have. You spiked my curiosity and got me Googling and the art director responsible for the look was Martin Obzina. Thanks for dropping by 🙂
