Bear with me, this is the last batch of photos before completion – which should be the first week of October…
Tomorrow the floor gets sanded, Monday the cabinet boxes go in, Wednesday the contractor and I go to the stone fabricator and mark the cuts for backsplash and counter, etc., etc., until the deco pendant lamps are hung and the last piece of cabinet hardware gets attached. Oh, and I’ll get some better angles because the doorways will be opened up! Thanks, V
It must be dinner reservations and take out for awhile. But, it seems to be moving along at a quick pace.
Lots of Cheerios, pizza, pomegranate yogurt, and Thai take out — it’ll be nice to roast a chicken and toss a salad again — but it is going quickly. 🙂
It really is taking shape! I love the color.
Benjamin Moore’s Abingdon Putty – who comes up with these names?
Most likely the people at Panteen
I’m loving your progress reports! I’ve always loved this part of the process—when you can really see it all coming together. Can’t wait to see the finished product!
Have a wonderful weekend!
You too! The kitchen has been one of the most gratifying projects in the house — all the other big jobs had to do with maintenance delayed — for about forty years. So, while it’s nice to have a new main and copper pipes and a furnace that wasn’t patented in 1919, they’re not exactly things I can go look at and admire 😉
