This is one of my favorite all time movies. Clio Dulaine is a wild character. A little mad in a way but not as mad as Suzanna Drake from “Raintree County”. Gary Cooper is soooo… Texas Sexy! Oh and how many times did Flora Robeson play a black woman? That makes me think of Juanita Hall playing Tonganeese in South Pacific and Chinese in Flowerdrum Song.
Oh! Now I know we were separated at birth — I am crazy about that movie. I have an old copy of the book that I read about once a year, too… that and “Brideshead Revisited”… and “The Wonder Boys”.
