I have the Brown Derby cookbook–it’s a gread read, full of all kinds of info about the stars’ favorite dishes, etc.

I always used to love it when my mom would make me a Monte Cristo Sandwich — jelly on ham in an egg dipped and fried sandwich dusted with powdered sugar… Is it in the cookbook? I’m gaining weight just thinking about it.

Alas, that recipe isn’t in the book. However, the recipe for their original Cobb Salad is in there if you’d like that one!

Thank you, Madame! I believe Cobb Salad has green crunchy things in it… and right now I’m on my annual cookie, fruitcake, and peppermint diet 😉
