We used to have National Geographic dating back to 1924, and LIFE magazine back to 1939, a magic portal to other times up two flights of stairs to the attic. Most of the magazines are gone, cleaned out in a massive Spring Cleaning. Now I wish I had realized what we were getting rid of.
