I took my mother and Granny to see Lena at the Golden Gate theater back in the 1980’s. Lena came out in a floor length sable sang a song…then took it off and dropped it on the stage and kicked it aside. “It’s mine so I can do that…” she said. We loved the show.
Khaela, please go right ahead, I wish I remembered the photographer’s name. I think it must be from one of the Los Angeles newspapers, either the Herald-Examiner, or the Times 🙂 .
