      I think it must be a break from a tableau… I think they still have these “Tableau Vivant” in Laguna every summer at the Pageant of the Master where volunteers strike poses in costume and makeup – of famous paintings…

    I remember those living paintings in Laguna Beach. I think they take place at the end of summer don’t they?

        End of April or beginning of May… Have you been? I know the book (published in 1884) it was based on was supposed to have spurred a wave of tourism to Southern California, tourists that turned into residents…

        Yes I went when I was 16! I loved it ! There was a 1930’s film made with Loretta Young and Don Ameche. In technicolor too!
