    I’ve always liked these photos.

She looks saucy and he looks like he arrived late and is terribly sleepy. Hm…

The oddness of the subjects, how they don’t quite mesh, is what makes them so compelling.

He’s mentioned this year (and by that I mean the decade of seventies) as being passed in a blur of cocaine – I think you nailed it… “doesn’t quite mesh…so compelling.”

Wonderful photos…but of course I would love them.

I wonder if he remembers the photo session? Miss Taylor said lovely things about him, his acting and his music. I think her fondness shows in the photography.

It sure does. In fact I think they have a mutual admiration society going on here.

From what I understand, and from the few times I’ve seen him interviewed, he’s one of the nicest people. I love his music. Elizabeth Taylor continues to fascinate me – she is a rare bird, indeed– the beauty inside is reflected in the exquisite beauty outside.

I still think Lanier should write the screenplay about his involvement with her. It’s a perfect story and one that people would adore on every level – especially seeing her through this young man’s eyes… I’m in love with this story! All I ask is that when he accepts his award, he turns to me, sitting in the front row, and showers me with credit. That’s not asking too much, right?

I think that’s just right… It is a wonderful story and Lanier does have a magical narrative style.

Had a “gripping” day myself. The kid is fine – but he was in his first car accident today – so I’m a little more rattled than usual. And, tomorrow I have a meeting about publishing a novel… I’ll keep you posted.

      Hugs! V

Oh Vickie! I know that scare all too well. It really rattles the nerves. My son has had more than his fair share. Ugh.
Publishing a novel! This is exciting stuff! Hooray! I guess I wasn’t exaggerating about your gift for writing. I’m thrilled for you.
It would be very fun, and by, “fun,” I mean helpful to me, (haha!) if you could give me your ideas for my potential book. I put some of my recent activity in a comment – not sure if you got it?
Anyway, this is big, Vickie. I’m excited for you. 🙂

        Hello Love,
About a memoir along the lines of “What Falls Away”? If you feel comfortable sending me your email info we can discuss further 🙂

Wow! Thanks for those. I’m a *huge* Bowie (as are all “right-minded” people :-)) and I’ve never seen those before. And he’s got his fantastic Man Who Fell to Earth/ Low hair too. I should imagine he like La Liz as he always had a thing for Hollywood glamour cf. his “Garbo” look on the Hunky Dory cover.
