Awesome news and pic
Thank you! I’ve been bouncing around all weekend ๐
That’s just gorgeous. And funny too.
I get it… The Lazy Ox… Well, I won’t comment on my weight, but as you point out I’m certainly not lazy ๐
Congrats on having it far enough along that you’ve got time for a walk! I like to avoid panic whenever possible, and it looks like you do to.
Thank you! Walking is one of the best cures for stress that I know ๐
Oh Vickie this is precious! Godspeed you on your journey… xoxo
Godspeed, one of my favorite words! Thank you, darling. xox, V
[…] Lester is taking Mister Lester out to dineย in Little […]
Little Tokyo?
quelle exotic.
glorious.
Yes, and you would love The Lazy Ox Canteen. We will go and feast ๐
Dearest V
Lovely snap… but don’t let the editor catch you slopping off like that!
Yours ever
The Perfumed Dandy
I’ll let you in on a little secret… I JUST FINISHED…
Celebrating with a cup of tea, and let me see (a midnight chat?) with my friends in England.
Bon nuit, love!
Bravo!
Bravissimmo!
Crack open the sparkling Earl Grey says I!!!
Yours ever, in celebration
The Perfumed Dandy
Ooh, you are done! Brava!
Looks like enjoying yourself in the process did you good… ๐
Bon Dimanche…
PS. Are you a fellow redhead, Vickie? It looks like perhaps you are…?
I am a silver head with artfully dyed hair ๐ http://vickielester.com/2013/03/15/i-went-grey-at-thirty-four-and-you/
Ahhh…my Grandomother had the same thing happen to her and I thought it was so lovely growing up, it only added to her true elegance. But that was then and this yes, is now. I give you credit for choosing a even relatively red shade (strawberry blonde more like) as we are a special group… ๐
I have a confession to make – I just love going to the Salon and the whole process. It’s a pampering every six weeks, and you should have seen the mess when I used to do this at home… ๐
Well, in that sense we are true opposites then, V as I detest the Frenchy gossipy salon and now cut my hair on my own! ๐ฎ
Well done!
Best of luck with your book. Sorry I haven’t been following closely. Have you provided details as to what it is about?
Thank you, Mr. Morgnanesi — I haven’t – although I was talking to the artist who is doing the book design last week and he dubbed it – Noir but not quite – and then he said, “You know. Sunny Noir” – I’m going with that, a new genre inspired by Southern California. It’s a sardonic, romantic, slightly mysterious look at Hollywood. I’ll keep you posted!
I like “Sunny Noir!” That’s so IT! Perfect.
Love the photo and of course I have to ask who snapped it? Perhaps your son? ๐
Next, I have to ask, does Mr. Lester have a twin brother, perhaps? No, seriously, does he? LOL!
I’ve been cleaning like Joan Crawford, and then locked out of my house for the good part of the day, as a family from Toronto took the tour. Fingers crossed…
And your book! Fingers twisted up and knotted!
Love and hugs,
Lisa xoxo
I love strolls with my Mister – good memories.
Looking forward to more news about the “sunny noir”. I really am very excited about this!
Me too – to both, thank you!
