MY FAVORITE PLACE TO SEE THE FIREWORKS

Dodger-Stadium-FireworksBest spot in LA to view the fireworks? My friends joint on a hill overlooking Dodger Stadium. We perch on camp chairs and chatter and laugh, usually to the clinking of frosty glasses of mint ice tea and the clatter of fork against plate as we savor huge wedges of freshly baked peach pie. Diana, Karl… I’m talkin’ about you!

There is nothing so bone rattling delightful as the burst of fireworks – I love the 4th of July!

It sounds warm and wonderful. Lane and I will be freezing Bay side watching fireworks in the fog no doubt!

One of my most memorable 4th of July’s – on a ferry in SF bay in a fog bank – listening to the fireworks. Once and a while we would chirp up with an, “Oh! I saw a faint glow!”

Peach pie and fireworks; lovely. And a soft, warm, evening breeze?

Beautiful night, warm breeze, good company… It’s winter in New Zealand, isn’t it?

Yes, but the last few days have been weirdly warm.

Not quite! I think I need to wear them for a while longer.

Looking at the angle of the shot… taken from a helicopter?
