    Dearest V
I wish, I wish, I wish we could know what;s grabbing her attention, but for all my twisting and turning and zooming and squirming not a thing!
    Dash… perhaps it’s Dashiell Hamnett.
    Something suitably hard-boiled I hope.

It’s a biography of Lincoln that I remember used to be on my grandmother’s bookshelves.

        Hurrah!
That makes me think of “Zip” from Pal Joey… she’s a ‘broad with a broad, broad mind’.

Oops! I think Mr. Darrell was more precise in his answer, The Works of Lincoln.

This has a powerful potential to be a great series! Librarians ought to tune in to this. I see you have at least two photos of people reading already up — plans for more?

Three more readers tomorrow, but one is a magazine, another a racing-form, and the last is an entire bookshelf 😉

It’s the Modern Library, works of Abraham Lincoln, I think.

Don’t hate me for saying it but her hair is absolutely fried…

    • August 14, 2013

Pssst, she wasn’t a natural redhead, and, as not a natural brunette anymore (who? me!) I can tell you dye is hell-fire-frying on your hair. xox, V

You know I was just talking about this when I broke down and got my hair cut. I am making peace with the whites coming in because I know that it is impossible for me to realistically dye red-hair to look anything natural and mine is fried enough as it is! So call me hypocrite!

Sister! I’m letting mine grow out too 😉 .

Reminds me, don’t know why, of the Marilyn Monroe shot reading Ulysses!
