Wow, that’s so beautiful it’s even hard to believe it’s a human being ;).
She was gorgeous and those studio photographers knew how to light for ultimate glamour.
Oh, that beautiful hair.
Artful, and probably hours in hair and makeup.
LOOK at that gorgeous hair!
The last time I died my hair I noticed it was getting lighter and lighter as it got more silver, almost blonde, and a friend out of town asked if I was going for a Veronica Lake “do” — if only! She was a one of a kind beauty. I wonder if her hair was insured like Betty Grable’s legs? 😉
Was it in her contract that she could never cut her hair short?
My hair is also getting lighter, for the same reasons you mentioned. I’m going for the Veronica look too!
Beautiful.I have just died and gone to heaven and there is an angel looking over me whose name is Veronica. There is more than a touch of the surreal about this image to my mind.Nothing today can touch this sort of photographic artistry. That is why an image like this will live forever.
As others have said… quelles cheveaux!
