Popular with celebrities as well now that it’s gone condo…

The detailed facade of this building is really quite spectacular. Always nice to enjoy your lovely blog after a long weekend away from the blogging vortex 🙂

Hello, and welcome back to the vortex! My kitchen remodel starts tomorrow so we’ll see how blogging goes… But, we endeavor to persevere 😉
p.s. I am determined to take the first swing of the mallet in the demolition — so happy to be ripping out the nasty early eighties kitchen from my 1924 Spanish Colonial.

I’ll be thinking of you swinging that mallet 🙂 Best wishes on a smooth remodel!

What a magnificent building, and it has gone condo! Another one to add to my LA Downtown fantasy “where would I like to live?” list.

    Happy new kitchen renovating!

You caught me! I posted this picture last year when I was renovating/restoring the kitchen – but I loved it so much I had to post it again.

The building is BEAUTIFUL. Add me as your neighbor in your “LA Downtown fantasy where I would like to live list” 😉

I loved old Downtown Los Angeles, such an unexpected and (when I was there) deliciously shabby slab of dayglo art deco.

It’s enjoying another revitalization these days, old bank building converted into condos, and a whole new sprawl dedicated to entertainment…
