      What was interesting to find, was that the glamour photographers did use gorgeous lighting techniques, but in a new book on George Hurrell, it also shows how he retouched photos as well — just fascinating!

        I am such a fan of Hurrell’s work. This photograph is so powerful I can almost hear them breathing. And yes, the lighting and retouching techniques used here are gorgeous! A master!

      Big eyes and smooth skin and WONDERFUL lighting. I am reading Rosiland Russell’s autobiography: Life is a Banquet, she is a hoot! I think you would love it!

    And then along came Mr. Hurrell…a young upstart out of nowhere who got a little lucky but had a LOT of talent. And V, I have that book but it is not new…unless you have a new edition of it…?
