She was ahead of the botox generation by more than er a wrinkle.

If she had some strange ideas then she is certainly keeping them to herself.

You’re quite right, she voiced them later, and as reader I completely enjoyed her early books, especially one about traveling to China.

I “like” Shirley, so truly beautiful.

I do too, and I picked this photo because it’s the only one I’ve seen that completely misses her sparkle… The only one… She’s a firecracker incarnate!

She is a really engaging writer, I wonder if she’s written anything lately…

The last I heard was her book about walking the El Camino in Spain. I have been meaning to read it!

Sulky Shirley, but she’s resplendent in green! The Kristen Stewart joke is verrry funny but better is the The Apartment reference. 🙂

Oh, it’s a pity I can’t remember the exit line from Some Like It Hot but, well… Nobody’s Perfect! *winks*

She did have a poker face she would assume, but she also looks like ‘fire.’ Great actress.

      Yes!

“I think of life itself now as a wonderful play that I’ve written for myself, and so my purpose is to have the utmost fun playing my part.”
