Brace yourself babies and lend an ear — Vickie Lester reads from It’s in His Kiss

When the impulses are all right, but the world goes wrong…

Find out what happens to Anne when things take a very strange turn on her way home to Hollywood. Romance, passion, sex, secrets, betrayal, corrupt whacko cults (oops. I mean totally legitimate churches), marriages that aren’t what they seem, behind the scenes machinations, murder, and mystery.

Coming your way June 1st, babies! And I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

And while I’ve got your attention I would like to thank my dialogue coaches and directors, i.e., the guys who told me to slow the hell down, pause, and think about what I was reading. I’m no Meryl Streep, but at least these two made me intelligible.

All praise to my friends in London, The Perfumed Dandy. | A gentleman all at sea on an ocean of female fragrance and San Francisco, SCENTS MEMORY | There is nothing like the smell of a man.

And, if you’re inclined, please: link, tweet the twitter, plus the google, and face the book out of this post. I would be ever so grateful!

    • Oh heavens, that would mean a lot of coffee, and maybe some kind of metronome to keep me from racing through — seriously (I did three takes) the first time I read it I sounded like the wolves were nipping at my heels.

HOORAY! And Baby, you were worth the wait. Wow. That was fabulous and a gorgeous, clean read. Bravo, Ms V and now that you are over the worst part you know what I am going to ask, right? More please?

    • There were a couple of bobbles — I think there will be more! It would be really fun if I could figure out a way to incorporate readers from around the world. HINT, HINT. Don’t you love how subtle I am 😉 . xox, V
