The following summer 1962 in Rome a big star would be wearing a flowerpot on her head while seducing her leading man.
She of the violet eyes could wear a pudding bowl on her head and get away with it 😉

The photo is great – it’s appealing like certain 19th century photographs, with recognizable human beings in a world so foreign it might as well be outer space.
I can identify fresh flowers on their heads – they really are flower pots. And, yes it has the feel of something Victorian!
Better even that “Bring back hats”… “Restore us our bonnets!”.
Especially at Easter and particularly for poodles.
