I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a coffee machine quite like that one. I’m not even sure how I would go about looking it up.
It’s the Silex Great Behemoth Vacuum Coffee Pot — no, seriously, I have no idea how it works. More research must be done!

Now I know this is harking back to your roots Miss Lester before you met Norman Main and became a big star. But didn’t you used to be a car hop at that drive in where they had one burger on the menu with everything in the place in it all burgered together?
Oh, honey – I waitressed for over 20 years (started at 15… ahem) and these photos do bring back memories! Not that I was wearing rollerskates, and not that I wasn’t in color… but you know what I mean. Honestly, rollerskating and carrying drinks just doesn’t sound like a healthy combination. Imagine trying to avoid getting pinched on the rear while you’re on wheels and holding beverages!
