Hi All,
I just wanted to update you on Vickie after I took to her the hospital very early Friday morning for what turned out to be the removal of an inflamed and infected gallbladder.
She slept through the night and was up at 6:00AM this morning and had a fine hospital breakfast of jello and jello, seriously she ate every flavor of jello they had. What a huge change from yesterday; she was jaundiced and in agony, this morning she had only a little pain, a little swelling and massive desire to get out of the hospital as fast as possible. She was checked out at 11:00.
She’s home and doing great, though she won’t let me take a picture of her belly. It’s pretty awesome though, it looks she was strafed by the Luftwaffe, okay a G rated version of what a real strafing would look like; 4 little incisions stapled and held together with purple super glue.
There is basically no change needed to her diet, who knew gall bladders weren’t that important? Thanks again to all of you for your kind thoughts.
