Both the Penn and Lisa photos as well as the Avedon and Suzy photos (but more so the former) shaped my young aesthetic so much and were my introduction to photography…Part of me still wants to be those women…they are more glamorous to me than any movie star…
And the allure of travel, off to Paris with Diana Vreeland, and a life full of “pizzazz”. I can see that in you…
