Bette DOES look like she’s acting in that photo. Does not look comfortable at all.
I love how she slights Parsons while seeming to praise her in the interview – she was a pistol!
She so reminds me of my Granny… both born the same year too!
And from what I remember of your story Granny too was master of the snappy come-back!
