Tales from Tinseltown…recording them now…I'll let you know when it's story time.
“I think I was 8 or 9 when I had a f*cking mad thing for Marilyn Monroe. I used to leave Smarties, the Irish equivalent of M&M’s, under my pillow with a little note saying, ‘I know you’re dead, but these are very f*cking tasty, and you should come have a few. I won’t tell anyone.'” Colin Farrell
“There’s only one woman who has been my friend over the years and by that I mean a real friend, like a man would be. That woman is Maureen O’Hara. She’s big, lusty, and absolutely marvelous definitely my kind of woman. She’s a great guy. I’ve had many friends and I prefer the company of men. Except for Maureen O’Hara.” John Wayne

One of my all-time favorite scenes from a movie. Way to go, V.
Years ago I was on line at the concession stand at the AVCO Theater on Wilshire Blvd in Westwood. In front of me was Tom Hanks, buying two hot dogs. Except that he forgot his wallet so they gave it to him. That’s what you get for being a great guy AND a movie star. Tom Hanks is one of the few stars I could see hanging out with and talking movies in Hollywood. I hope I get the chance someday.
Oh, the eternal geeky wonder of the films from the 1980’s! I loved them all…
