There is something in his posture and the way he’s holding the baby that I recognized – and it almost brought me to tears. Good tears. xoxoxox!

It’s an incredible portrait – the kind that captures the essence of fatherhood. I love it.

Joining in the chorus of approval; that is gorgeous. He looks so protective and the baby is so vulnerable. Beautiful find, Vickie.

Personally, I think it’s probably the most captivating image I’ve found… Thanks, George!

Her name was Diana and her autobiography (made into a film in 1958 by Warner Bros. staring Dorothy Malone and Errol Flynn) was titled “Too Much Too Soon”. Also in the “Bad and the Beautiful” (1952) Lana Turner’s character, Georgia Lorrison is based on Diana Barrymore.

Diana Barrymore who died January 25, 1960 – an overdose of sleeping pills and alcohol. She was just 38. So sad.
