Apparently Zeppo was in private the funniest of the Marx Brothers, and did a great Groucho! He also (and thanks to IMDB for this) invented a wristwratch that could monitor the pulse rates of cardiac patients.

I like the Marx Brothers unlike The Three Stooges who were still being shown in a specialist cartoon cinema when I was a child.Come to think of it so was Shirley Temple and I did not like her either.Not the sort of thing for a man who did not become a rock star to have to endure.

Fortunately, I still have the mind of a ten year-old 😉 Groucho transcends vaudeville at his best and Duck Soup is their smartest, screamingly funny at any age!
When Zeppo left the act. The studio head reluctantly told Groucho, “Well, I guess you three will want the same money that we paid the four of you.” Groucho said, “The same money! Without him we’re worth twice as much.”

Out of curiosity, I looked up the old LA City Directories, and found his office was at 8732 Sunset Blvd, which puts it just west of the Sunset Plaza
