I am. In fact, I’m going to Vero Beach, Florida tomorrow. I’m going to look at real estate and see how I feel about it. My father’s side of the family is deeply entrenched in Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton – unfortunately that would be the draw back of moving down there. They are quite a group of characters, let me tell ya, and I shudder to think that I would be even a 3 hour drive away! Haha! I do love the Atlantic ocean and the weather would be a nice change of pace for me… I really don’t know, Vickie. I’m just in a stupor. Maybe it’s because I put so much weight on this decision. Maybe I need to ease up?
I’ll be checking in as I’m able during the coming week.

Where are your closest friends? (Your kids?) Although, I think you’re outgoing and would make the effort wherever you move to become integrated into the community. Florida is beautiful and warm and those beaches! Have you ever visited Charleston, SC? It’s got the architecture… and it’s quite a bit further from Boca 😉 Enjoy yourself, this is the best kind of adventure, finding your nest. And, if you feel that old stupor coming on, go lie on the beach (don’t forget your sunscreen) and take a nap. I’m looking forward to hearing your impressions! Love, V
