I would say on a quick scan that Miss Davis’ hair color (of that era) is #7 — a tint I am very familiar with — for when you reach a certain age silver is more easily turned into gold 😉 .

Fabulous photo!! And her haircolor looks hauntingly familiar to me too… it blends so well with my roots, which have strangely “lightened” over the years…
