Dear V
Goldie Hawn? More like ‘golden faun’ say I!
Yours ever
The Perfumed Dandy
The petal delicate girl from the glade, what Mr. Dandy, would be her signature scent?

That’s easy “Afternoon of a Faun” by Etat Libre d’Orange – an exercise in sharp immortelle – what better for a timeless star like our dear Goldie!
Yours ever
The Perfumed Dandy
Immortelle is a flower? I will be your architectural tour guide if you teach me about perfume!
xox,

That’s a deal – I offer a hand across the Atlantic in order that we might shake on it!

That’s one great pic of Goldie Hawn.
Was she a model, or a dancer before “Laugh In”?
I believe she started out as a dancer.
Ah, that makes sense. Thank you 🙂
She had that 60’s look but never a classic beauty. I feel she was more of a character– the ditzy, giggling, child-woman.
You’ve got it! And, what I love about her is that she was so unique, nobody combined that ditzy vibe (like Gracie Allen) with ethereal sexiness.
I loved her laugh.
It’s funny I remember it at all, considering I was usually shuffled off to bed when it aired.
Ha! Very fun memories!
