      Brilliant gal. Just remembering her first quip to Alexander Woollcott when Tallulah to joined his party at the Algonquin Round Table, “Mr. Woollcott, there is less here than meets the eye.” Gotta love her.

    That education is a darned good one, really. If we presume (just for fun) her Shakespeare was in one volume (poor overburdened nightstand!), she had two big tomes from which to learn a lot about human nature!

    I used to read the Bible. Now I read Shakespeare. And I can shoot pool. But I’ve never been photographed languishing over the world’s biggest wine glass.
