She worked consistently for 58 years in film, radio, and TV (from 1931 to the year of her death in 1989). I think she took it very seriously.

I don’t know. Being serious about something and taking it seriously aren’t the same thing, so I’m apt to believe her. 🙂

We are having as good a time as can be expected. We’ve spent the summer watching lots of great classic films, so I really cannot complain. I hope you and yours are having a nice summer, as well.
