Such a striking image; the composition, the interplay of light and shadow, and then there’s Ms Astor herself: her pose, her expression, her gaze, her dress, her arms… (!)

Besides the diary (which was destroyed and was a key element in the custody battle for her daughter) she wrote a stack of really good books – both autobiographies and novels – I imagine she would have had a sensational web log as well 😉
What a really stunning picure.With a few exceptions they dont seem to make women as beautiful as this anymore.Then I am just a romantic.For that matter they dont seem to take pictures like this anymore.
