Episode 35. You made it! The last chapter of Hollywood & Mine

I’ve been tossing about as much stardust as I can muster right now. That’s it, this novel is done. I think the podcast of the book runs a bit over 10 hours in its entirety.

Let me know if you’d like to hear another Hollywood novel podcast — remember it will take me some time to write it — if you think I should independently publish what you’ve heard, or, if you just want to chat the comments are open. I’d love to hear from you.

Would love to see it published

Thank you, Chris! I am looking at the manuscript now, with my notes scrawled all over it from the hours I spent recording it. The next step will be to type them into the text. I’ve been reading about the new variant of the virus in the UK, and it’s being reported that it will be the dominant strain here in the US by March. Hoping you get your vaccine very soon. Stay safe.

Well done and thank you for taking the time to do this; a little beacon in the dark. I am sure you have more stories to tell, just as there is light to come! Sincerely yours,

Definitely more stories to come, and I will send you previews. Do you know when you will receive your vaccination? It looks like I will be in the group for March, but we’ll have a much better idea after the 20th. xox, V

I hope you get your vaccination as soon as possible, Ms V; I was just about to ask when you were likely to receive yours. March doesn’t seem to bad, I wish you could get it sooner but with many millions much older than you, young lady, I’m not surprised. (D’you know they call me flatterer? It’s true! Actually, I suspect they are saying I should be *flatter* – like under a hit by a falling piano flatter!)
Vaccination? Me? Who knows? Not a priority, as with you there are millions more needful. People over here would do well to remember that their fearful leader told them the vaccination process would be over by *early April* not SEPTEMBER! Of course, only morons would have believed that meretricious claim, but as we see there are more than a few idiots willing to believe an obvious lie when it suits them! *Ahem* (They also call me The Enigma…or was that, “you’re a pig, man/pig-man!”?). *cough cough*
Stay Safe & Protected, Writer Lady.

Today the Los Angeles Times is reporting 3,000,443 cases and 33,762 COVID deaths. Heartbreaking. There are also articles about vaccinations here ramping up, yet people over 65 are having difficulty finding access. I’m under 65 so I will continue to try my best to stay safe, stay sane, stay sanitized 😉 .

Good show, Vickie! All one can do. Highest death rate has been reported here. Shameful. Particularly shameful for the dimwits who still can’t follow simple rules.

On the brighter side… Joseph Biden is now President! Democratically elected, empathetic, and wise. Great to see Kamala Harris as V.P. as well.
