Anita Loos, looking scholarly, famous for writing the bestselling, “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes”, notoriously lied about her age, stating she started writing for motion pictures at the age of twelve in 1912… Pictured below: Charlie Chaplin, Anita Loos, Paulette Goddard, and John Emerson.
