According to a physician who had access to the medical notes of Michael Gurdin, M.D. and John Pangman, M.D., Ms. Monroe had cartilage removed from the tip of her nose and a chin implant in 1950. Certainly by ’52 she was the vision we all remember. Is there a book about it? Of course there is: “Are Those Real… True Tales of Plastic Surgery From Beverly Hills” by Norman Leaf, M.D.
