You cant beat this for a great movie!
When people think of Capra they usually think of Mr Smith Goes To Washington or It’s A Wonderful Life but the neglected Meet John Doe is such an odd, biting, satirical, dark but (bitter) sweet little movie, and funny too. People tend to forget the darkness lurking in Capra’s best films, belying his reputation for “Capra Corn”.
