Please, I must know the ingredients in “boula boula au gratin”.

Only for you, Melissa – it’s a clam broth with shallots, white wine, a little pureed spinach, and way too much heavy cream, topped with Parmesan cheese. Soup to give even the most stalwart modern palate a tummy ache.

Marveling over the menu… Isn’t it wonderful? And the picture! Love this post.

Merci beaucoup! Looking at it I wouldn’t mind a big plate of Crepe Suzettes. Are you snowed in?

Crepe Suzettes…. Oh, that sounds delicious.
Yes, it’s awful here. My daughter, Lily, had her flight back to B.C. cancelled and will now be home until Saturday — so good for me 🙂

My son has decided to drive to Los Angeles to pop in on Neil. He’s going out to “investigate” his father’s hidden world. I have mixed feelings. I think we’re all just hurting here and want answers. I’m not going to stop him from going. Lots of drama.

Ouch. I know that protective feeling, but you’re right not to stop him. I hope he finds the answers he needs. Oh my. My wish for you is a little less, no, a lot less drama. I’m glad Lily is there with you. Stay warm, my friend. My thoughts are with you. Hugs, V

Tonight I think I’d skip dinner (if Ciro’s still existed) and go for the Baked Alaska… What? There’s protein in the egg whites 😉
