I just watched this movie last night for the first time. I noticed that the scene where Marilyn sings I want to be Loved by You, the camera zoomed in on her face and not the bosom area of her dress. There were also scenes of her seated at a table wearing the dress, and lighting put that bosom area in shadow. I was wondering if the censor board went nuts about Monroe’s wardrobe for that film!
Some Like it Hot was released without the Production Code seal of approval because of the racy material and probably Marilyn’s garments – it was a huge success and the censor board was soon on its way out. You are absolutely right, they went nuts!
Come on! Those “girls” look a lot more gorgeous than many another girl, doncha think? I do…
Strangely tantalizing, and you know what they say…

Osgood, I’m a MAN! 🙂
Love the scene when he returns from an evening out with Osgood tipsy and “shaking maracas”!
“Nobody’s perfect!” 😉
Daphne had a right to be giddy. She was engaged!
You’re so RIGHT! If a girl can’t be giddy then…!
