Delish! And to top it off, I bet eating this would bring Good Luck for Chinese New Year this weekend…

I am a philistine – I was going to say “that’s nice, but where’s the food?!” Still if Mr Cole was singing anything would taste good. 🙂

    This sounds really tasty!

Also, not that it matters, but I’ve been invited to a retro 60s-style cocktail party next weekend and must bring retro appetizer. Am going to go through your archives because I know you’ve posted some fab recipes in the past.

I’m answering your comments out of sequence, but you know how I like to eat!

Dip: Lipton’s onion soup mixed with sour cream
Healthy? Celery sticks filled with a blend of cream cheese and blue cheese
Standards: Pigs in a blanket, Deviled eggs, tiny little cocktail sandwiches (salted thinly sliced onion and mayo)… Have a blast!

Here in L.A. it suddenly has become very quiet. 100 million people are watching the game… 🙂

      • February 2, 2014

In my neighbourhood, too…very, very quiet…

        I can’t keep from grinning, it’s lovely!

    Dearest V
I think I prefer this to Burt’s Bourguignon… which reminds me: that meatloaf I meant to make!
    Bain marie, bain marie!
