My how have times changed. Could an actress win for that role today? Really? No. But she does absolutely sparkle in these photos and oh how gorgeous Audrey looked that night!

My favorite role of hers was Victor/Victoria. Which is a subtle way of saying, no, I don’t think so (in answer to your question) 😉 .

Do you know… I remember the record album much more than I remember the movie!

I suppose I remember the movie more because of the umpteen times my children watched it.

I hope this isn’t demeaning, but she is as cute as a button here. That necklace is stunning!

What was that movie she made to combat her image? “S.O.B.” — I think. She sparkles and she is cute, even in that 😉 .

I love Victor/Victoria! Jim Garner, Julie, Robert Preston, Lesley Ann Warren, you can’t go wrong. It’s easily Blake Edward’s best late period movie.
I always had a thing for Julie as Mary Poppins. Ahem. It’s so sad when she leaves!
S.O.B. – Maria bares her breasts. SCANDALOUS! I bet even Christopher Plummer smiled at that!
