My novel opens here, in Palm Springs…

Vickie Lester has written the ultimate Hollywood insider murder-mystery with gasp-worthy plot twists and plenty of delicious, naughty moments. It’s In His Kiss roams from the dark underbelly of Palm Springs to the power canyons of Hollywood. Everyone has a secret: once-wealthy moguls, studio executives with double lives, wry East Coast novelists plunged into intrigue, uneasily blended families and a certain church that likes to keep its movie colony types in check. A must read that you won’t want to put down until its final brilliant conclusion.

My wonderful friend wrote that blurb for my book. I had a digital check-up with her, regarding my novel, and shockingly when I scheduled it I had forgotten all about the Academy Awards. Result? I was a bit of a zombie, but I think in my post-party haze I absorbed just enough… writers | the digital check up. There was something of a concerned look after the plunge into twitter, tumblr, and pinterest, and an Rx for an early evening, and perhaps some warm milk sprinkled with cinnamon. But, before I do just that  I thought I’d schedule this post and  show you a glimmer of Palm Springs, where our story opens, photographed by Robert Doisneau in the year of 1960.
