I like the idea of the Basil Rathbone Sherlock movies more than I do actually watching them. A bit stilted and slooooooow. His acting seems Botoxed. I’m usually snoozing before the end. In a very odd twist (for me) I prefer the modern: Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock – fast, fast, fast – and what a hottie!
