I have her wedding veil, and I’ve tried to adopt her sense of decorum here in the world of social networking…

Woman&Veil037I’ve been talking today about women I admire, and of course, my book. I feel obliged to boost it, but it also makes me a little edgy. We’ve talked about this, a lot. Premature publication… My accidental publication… You all know the story about clicking a button one night and the following morning finding the novel for sale on Amazon. Well, I’ll let Elvis Costello and the Attractions song’s title tell the tale…

Thinking about it now, I’m glad it happened. And I’m very glad none of you were in the room, that fateful Friday morning, May 9th, when I saw the book up on Amazon, because the words that I let fly would have shocked you.

Your mind is made up but your mouth is undone, indeed!

After just having repeated mis-fires pre-posting, I sympathize entirely! WordPress does it to me every end of the month as I let the current month slip by. Embrace and ignore as appropriate 🙂

Formatting! And the new way we have to edit the pictures… I’m old! I can’t keep up! I hear you!

All in all, it may have been a happy accident.
