That’s a great photo. Love it.
How are you, Vickie? Doing well, I hope.
It’s negative degrees here in the windy city – it’s very unpleasant. At least there’s no snow. I’m counting that as a blessing 🙂
Chicago is the city where I was saved by kind stranger who pulled me into a building just as that WIND (you know the one I’m talking about) was about to fling me down the street. Ever since then I’ve had a soft spot for the place, that and the great Greek restaurants. I enjoyed your post about emotional safety – just as I’m contemplating my teenager about to venture away from home and fly without a net…
Vickie, I can only imagine what kind of wonderful mother you must be. You have a beautiful spirit. I have no doubt that your child is fully equipped with all the years of love and intelligence that you’ve imbued in them. No worries. You’ve planted good seeds. That’s all you can do. They’ll take root – trust me. And as for the net, it will always be there, just not visible to the eye.
Chicago is a great city, I agree. Good people — Political criminals aside 🙂
