Ms. Grace, thank you so much. I used to walk in the hills all the time—just GO—and then recently I started again after years not climbing. It’s really extraordinarily sunny and wonderful (after my aged knees adjusted), the dark mystery comes with fiddling with the exposure 😉 .
If’n I had houses in my neighborhood, I’d be taking noir-ish photos like this, too. Alas, I only have the Brady Bunch house in my neck of the woods. A nifty claim to fame, but nothing like this.
Mysterious! I really like this picture 🙂
I do too, and next door some kids were selling lemonade in their driveway. It was a great walk!
The turreted windows are “beguiling;” they suggest dark mystery. There is a fairytale connection to the castle like form.
Beautiful!

I am totally engrossed in your book and want to praise and thank you! Again.
So delighted to hear it! Give me a holler when you’re done!
Well, who wouldn’t, with places like this to photograph! 🙂
The hills are eclectic, I just love them!
Fab house and gorgeous plantings – a perfect pairing, like little neck clams on the half shell with chilled pinot grigio!
One of these days I’m going to turn up at your place for dinner!

I love the Brady Bunch house!
