I’m old enough to remember when there were tons of pepper trees around Hollywood and out to Beverly Hills – they were messy however and chewed up the sidewalks and streets with roots
That menu is lovely, to say nothing of its contents.
Never in my life have I heard of “Larded Filet of Beef”, so I did an online search. To an unabashed carnivore like me, it sounds amazing. I have GOT to try this!
Oh I just loved this! What is amazing to me is that they list the sources for much of the food…one hundred years ahead of its time…off to go look up monk’s beard salad… 😉
