If I had a coverlet like that on my bed it would end up in a slippery satin heap on the floor in about two seconds! I’d show you what my hair looks like right now, but I don’t want to frighten the children 😉 .
Probably true. My staff isn’t quite so, ummm, willing.

Sending soothing thoughts to you, mahvellous Ms Lester. Oh, and a dozen long-stemmed imaginary roses that you may scatter on the bed or not as you see fit!
Fret not about your hair, mine probably looks at the moment like a cross between Robert Smith of The Cure’s and Bruce Robinson’s after being caught in a wind tunnel!
This is how I awake every morning. And yes, my hair looks just like that.

Ha ha! I hear you, sistah!

That’s right…in movie-life one always wakes with perfectly applied eyeliner and lipstick!
A bed of roses never sounded like a comfortable way to sleep or wake — all those thorns!
I have a feeling Ms. Constance Bennett (quite the QUEEN bee) would have had them removed by staff before being artfully strewn 😉 .

The tousled look has much to recommend. Love the roses and soothing thoughts!
And self-publicizing, as well, I would hazard a guess. 🙁
Self-publicizing—don’t get me started! Talk about thorny…
LOL.
