Errol was a splendid actor whose abilities were severely and sadly underrated in his lifetime. Davis’ cheap shots about him, of which this comment was but one, are to me a sign of jealousy fueled by a massive ego. Hollywood ignored him while they worshipped her, but now, decades later, there are many of us who know better.
