Thanks for sharing this one, V! Really made me smile, especially the cost of the featured dress!
As for Chicago’s deep freeze, my nearest and dearest have been calling me daily, bemoaning the arctic temps. So glad to be missing out on all the slipping, and sliding, and snow!

I know, a designer dress for $135 – I don’t know why, but I find that fascinating. One of my favorite movie scenes regarding shopping for a “few things” is in “The Palm Beach Story”… Rudy Vallee and Claudette Colbert in a comic delight set in BALMY Florida. If I can figure out the intricacies of WordPress I’ll post the clip.

This was wonderful, Vickie! I woke up this morning and it was snowing. So now it’s not only cold, but it’s wet and awful. 🙁
Thanks for this reminder that spring is coming, Chicago is amazing, and silver sequin dresses are always in style. (Yes, I’d wear that now, if I had her figure… But probably not to shovel snow!)

I’ve always wondered how one sits down in a sequined dress without damaging the dress or getting poked with sharp bits.
Shoveling snow? Oh my! My least favorite work out. Not that I’ve done it often, but OOF. Have some hot cocoa instead. 😉
