What I remember about her (I think she came up on my radar when I was about twelve) was that she had a castle in France and something like 24 adopted kids. I thought she was wonderful just for that and I didn’t know anything then about her career in show business…

Is that collar one called An Eton collar?I think that they were stiffened by celluloid and must have been both very uncomfortable and inflamable to boot.
And I though my school uniform was uncomfortable 😉 .
