Now, my angels…

Not to be craven, or anything… But there are occasional ‘quakes in L.A., what with all the big egos and wait…is that another tremblor?

I thought Spielberg dropped his wallet! I thought my husband finally picked up his shoes! I thought George Clooney fell on bended knee to…oh, George, you shouldn’t have! From Cartier?

No? Still, it can be a wee bit disorienting and while one is sitting frozen and staring at the piano one remembers it would be a good idea to get away from the exterior walls and crouch next to the hulking thing in case the roof falls. That said…

I’m thinking of taking a few days off; a little quiet, a little marshaling of thought before the push to publish. The weblog may be dark, but I’ll still be lurking. Drop me a note and I’ll get back to you tout de suite — because, that’s my favorite thing about this whole Internet escapade, friends like you!

    May Palm Springs give you a fabulous extra *spring* in, uh, Spring. 🙂 I know you won’t need to drink either that tanker of coffee or more aftershocks to get a Happy Buzz! The Springs will be made a million times more fine by the presence of Ms Vickie Lester (and not to forget Mr L as well!) – hey, put the sick bag down, lady… The noive! 😉

      We do get to a certain age when makeup should be applied not with a trowel, but with a very minimal touch… Now, brace yourself, George dear. I visited Jackie’s website recently, and she looks great! And I learned how to make Lucky Luciano…strike that…Lucky Santangelo meatballs 😉 .

      Warm days, cool nights…I would take a real camera and send you pix, but I think the majority of the time I’ll be floating in a swimming pool and the remaining time I’ll be rummaging around in the refrigerator…Not a splendid vista, but very relaxing!

    V., I was naughty about Jackie, wasn’t I?! You are right, she does look good (much better than ol’ Joannie!) but I gotta make poor jokes, it’s a compulsion – like Michael Douglas with the sex! Bwahahaha!
